Eurostat: EU27-Iran foreign trade in the first half of the year 2026 generated 1.105 million Euro (-36%). The 27 EU countries exported goods worth € 828 million Euro (-43%) to Iran and imported goods worth 277 million Euro (-31%). Germany was the most important EU trade partner of Iran, with a trade volume of 330 million Euro, followed by the Netherlands (141 million Euro) and Italy (130 million Euro).
The European Union (EU27) export of goods to Iran from January to June of the year 2026 stood at 828 million Euro, that is 34% less compared to the first six month of the year 2025. According to the latest data by Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union, 29% of the EU exports to Iran came from Germany that delivered goods worth 237 million Euro, that was 52% less than in the first six month of year 2025. Second were the Netherlands with exports worth 126 million Euro (-48%), followed by Italy (107 million Euro, -48%) and France (101 million Euro, -4%).
From January to June 2026 the 27 EU countries imported goods worth 277 million Euro from Iran (-31%). Most of the Iranian exports to the European Union (34%) went to Germany, which imported goods worth 93 million Euro from Iran (-14%) followed by Spain with (43 million Euro, -19%) and Italy (42 million Euro, -41%).
