Eurostat: EU27-Iran foreign trade in the first four month of the year 2025 generated 695 million Euro (-47%). The 27 EU countries exported goods worth € 501 million Euro (-51%) to Iran and imported goods worth 194 million Euro (-31%). Germany was the most important EU trade partner of Iran, with a trade volume of 220 million Euro, followed by the Netherlands (86 million Euro) and Italy (88 million Euro).
The European Union (EU27) export of goods to Iran from January to April of the year 2026 stood at 501 million Euro, that is 51% less compared to the first four month of the year 2025. According to the latest data by Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union, 30% of the EU exports to Iran came from Germany that delivered goods worth 152 million Euro, that was 57% less than in the first four month of year 2024. Second (15%) were the Netherlands with exports worth 73 million Euro (-59%), followed by Italy (62 million Euro, -58%), France (48 million Euro, -38%) and Austria (38 million Euro, +18%).
From January to April 2025 the 27 EU countries imported goods worth 194 million Euro from Iran (-31%). Most of the Iranian exports to the European Union (35%) went to Germany, which imported goods worth 68 million Euro from Iran (-11%) followed by Spain with (29 million Euro, -27%) and Italy (26 million Euro, -48%).
