ICCIMA:   Iran’s total revenues obtained from oil and gas exports in the previous Iranian calendar year to late March exceeded $55 billion, up 43% compared to figures reported a year earlier, the country’s oil minister says.

Iran’s total revenues obtained from oil and gas exports in the previous Iranian calendar year to late March exceeded $55 billion, up 43% compared to figures reported a year earlier, the coun­try’s oil minister says.  Javad Owji said that Iran is producing oil some one million barrels per day (bpd) more than it did two years ago when President Ebrahim Raisi took office. He noted that the country’s daily oil production stood at 2.3 million bpd in the beginning of the current admi­nis­tration while it has now risen to 3.3 million bpd.  “The important point is that the produced oil is either consumed at the domestic refineries or exported overseas.”

Earlier, CEO of National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) Mohsen Khojastehmehr said Iran’s oil ex­port has doubled and will hit 3.5 million bpd by the end of the calendar month of Shahrivar (Sept. 23). According to OPEC’s statistical bulletin in 2023, Iran’s oil revenues in 2022 were esti­mated at $42.6 billion.

In den ersten sieben Monaten des Jahres 2023 erreichte der deutsch-iranische Außenhandel einen Wert von 815 Millionen Euro und lag damit im Vergleich zum Vorjahreszeitraum 24% niedriger.  Deutschland lieferte Waren im Wert von 663 Millionen Euro (-25%); die iranischen Lieferungen nach Deutschand fielen um 19% auf 152 Mio. Euro.  

Wichtigste Warengruppen bei den deutschen Lieferungen nach Iran in den ersten sieben Monaten  des Jahres 2023 waren Ma­schinen, Apparate und mechanische Geräte (167 Mio. Euro), phar­ma­zeutische Erzeugnisse (106 Mio. Euro),  optische, photografische usw. Erzeugnisse (81 Mio. Euro), gefolgt von elektrotechnischen Erzeugnissen (45 Mio. Euro) und verschiedenen Erzeugnissen der chemischen Industrie. 

Die iranischen Lieferungen nach Deutschland in den ersten sieben Monaten des Jahres 2023 setz­ten sich u.a. zusammen aus ge­niessbaren Früchten und Nüssen im Wert von 42 Mio. Euro, ande­ren Waren tierischen Ursprungs (Häute und Schafsdärme, 29 Mio. Euro), phar­mazeutischen Erzeugnissen (20 Mio Euro) sowie Perlen, Edelsteinen, Edel­­metallen (15 Mio. Euro) und Tep­pichen (14 Mio. Euro).

Eurostat: EU27:   Iran foreign trade from January to July 2023 generated 2,570 million Euro. The 27 EU coun­tries exported goods worth € 2,207 million Euro (-6%) to Iran and imported goods worth € 481 million (-24%). Germany was the most important EU trade partner of Iran, with a trade volume of 809 million Euro, followed by Italy (435 million Euro) and the Netherlands (330 million Euro). 

The European Union (EU27) export of goods to Iran from January to July 2023 stood at 2.207 mil­lion Euro, a decrease of 6% compared to the first seven month of the year 2022. According to the latest data by Eurostat, the sta­tis­tical office of the European Union, 30% of the EU exports to Iran came from Germany that de­livered goods worth 663 million Euro, that was 25% less than in January-July 2022. Second (15%) was Italy with exports worth 341 million Euro (+22%) followed by the Netherlands (304 million Euro, +49%), Belgium (187 million Euro, +51%) and France (163 million Euro, -17%).

In the first seven month of the year 2023 the 27 EU countries imported goods worth 481 million Euro from Iran (-25%). Most of the Iranian exports to the European Union (30%) went to Germany, which imported goods worth 146 million Euro from Iran (-16%), followed by Italy (94 million Euro, -8%) and Spain (51 million Euro, -34%)

IRICA:   Iran’s non-oil trade stood at $43.530 billion during the first five months of the cur­rent Iranian calendar year (March 21-August 22), according to the data released by the Isla­mic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA).

The export volume of non-oil goods (excluding crude oil, fuel oil and kerosene and also without con­sidering exports of luggage trade) in the first five month of the year 1402 valued at $19.342 billi­on, while the imports valued at $24.188 billion in the first five month of the current year. During the mentioned period, the export drop­ped 9 percent in terms of value, however, the imports in­crea­s­ed by 7 percent in value, as compared to the same period of time in the previous year.

China (5.565 Billion US-Dollar), Iraq (3.508 Billion US-Dollar), the United Arab Emirates (UAE) (2.300 Billion US-Dollar), Turkey (2.245 Billion US-Dollar) and India (845 Million US-Dollar) were the top five export desti­na­ti­ons of Iranian non-oil goods in the mentioned five months,

The UAE (7.260 Billion US-Dollar), China (7.055 Billion US-Dollar), Turkey (2.521 Billion US-Dol­lar), Ger­ma­ny (879 Million US-Dollar) and India (813 Million US-Dollar were the top five sources of import.
