Eurostat: EU27-Iran foreign trade in January 2023 generated 401 million Euro. The 27 EU coun­tries exported goods worth € 323 million Euro (+7%) to Iran and imported goods worth € 78 million (-2%). Germany was the most important EU trade partner of Iran, with a trade volume of 126 million Euro, followed by the Netherlands (54 million Euro) and Italy (51 million Euro).

The European Union (EU27) export of goods to Iran in January 2023 stood at 323 mil­lion Euro, an increase of 7% compared to January 2022. According to the latest data by Eurostat, the sta­tis­tical office of the European Union, 31% of the EU exports to Iran came from Germany that de­livered goods worth 99 million Euro, that was 9% less than in January 2021. Second (16%) were the Netherlands with exports worth 51 million Euro (+71%), followed by Italy (39 million Euro, +56%) and Romania (30 million Euro, +3118%).

In January 2023 the 27 EU countries imported goods worth 78 million Euro from Iran (-2%). Most of the Iranian exports to the European Union (35%) came from Germany, which imported goods worth 27 million Euro from Iran (+15%), followed by Italy (12 million Euro, -14%), Belgium (11 million Euro, +205%) and Spain (8 million Euro, -24%).
