The Statistical Center of Iran has released a new report on inflation in the tenth month of the year 1404 (started March 20). According to the latest data, the annual inflation for the month under review (Dey) increased to 44.6%, marking a 2.4 percent increase from the previous month, In terms of point to point CPI rise, “food and beverages“ with 89.9% saw the highest among 12 groups of goods and services; followed by ‘tobacco products’ with 71.9% and ‘household supplies and furniture’ with 56.7% and ”health services” with 55.4%. The Consumer Price Index was reported at 469.4, reflecting a 7.9 percent rise compared to the previous month and a 60.0% rise compared to the same month of the year before.
