Eurostat: EU27-Iran foreign trade in the first four month of the year 2025 generated 1,314 million Euro (-18%). The 27 EU coun­tries ex­por­ted goods worth € 1,034 million Euro (-21%) to Iran and impor­ted goods worth 280 mil­lion Euro (-3%). Ger­­many was the most important EU trade partner of Iran, with a trade volume of 426 mil­lion Euro, followed the Ne­therlands (203 mil­li­on Euro) and Italy (197 million Euro).

The European Union (EU27) export of goods to Iran from January to April of the year 2025 stood at 1,034 mil­­lion Euro, that is 21% less compared to the first four month of the year 2024. Accor­ding to the latest data by Eurostat, the sta­­tis­tical office of the European Uni­on, 34% of the EU exports to Iran came from Germany that de­livered goods worth 349 million Euro, that was 19% less than in the first four month of year 2024. Second (17%) were the Netherlands with exports worth 177 million Euro (+4%) fol­lowed by Italy (147 million Euro, -13%), France  (78 million Euro, -15%) and  Belgium (73 million Euro, -26%).

From January to April 2025 the 27 EU countries imported goods worth 280 million Euro from Iran (-4%). Most of the Ira­nian exports to the European Union (27%) went to Germany, which im­ported goods worth 77 million Euro from Iran (-3%) followed by Italy with (50 million Euro, -35%) and Spain (39 million Euro, +37%).
