Eurostat: EU27-Iran foreign trade in January to June 2024 generated 2,355 million Euro (+1%). The 27 EU coun­tries ex­por­ted goods worth € 1,924 million Euro (+1%) to Iran and impor­ted goods worth 431 million Euro (+1%). Ger­­many was the most important EU trade partner of Iran, with a trade volume of 741 million Euro, followed by Italy (368 million Euro) and the Ne­therlands (302 mil­li­on Euro).

The European Union (EU27) export of goods to Iran in the first six month of the year 2024 stood at 1,924 mil­lion Euro, an increase of 1% compared to January till June 2023. Accor­ding to the latest data by Eurostat, the sta­­tis­tical office of the European Union, 33% of the EU exports to Iran came from Germany that de­livered goods worth 632 million Euro, that was 12% more than in the first half of the year 2023. Second (14%) were the Netherlands with exports worth 276 million Euro (-1%) fol­lowed by Italy (264 million Euro, -7%), Belgium (156 million Euro, +1%) and France (124 million Euro, -12).

From January to June 2024 the 27 EU countries imported goods worth 431 million Euro from Iran (+1%). Most of the Ira­nian exports to the European Union (25%) went to Germany, which im­ported goods worth 109 million Euro from Iran (-16%), followed by Italy (104 million Euro, +24%) and Spain (44 million Euro, -5%).
