The Statistical Center of Iran has released a new report on inflation in the first eleven month of the cur­rent Iranian year (started March 21). According to the latest data, the annualized inflation for the month under review (Bahman) stood at 42.5%, down from 43.6% in the month before. 

In terms of year-on-year CPI rise, “hotels and restaurants” with 55.4 saw the highest among 12 groups of goods and services, followed by “clothing and shoes” with 44.3%. Food and beverages were 31.6% more expensive in the month of Bahman than in the same month of the previous year. The Consumer Price Index was reported at 225,7 indicating a 35.8% rise compared to the same month of the year before
