The Statistical Center of Iran has released a new report on inflation in the first ten month of the cur­rent Iranian year (started March 21). According to the latest data, the annualized inflation for the month under review (Dey) stood at 43.6%, down from 44.4% in the month before. 

In terms of year-on-year CPI rise, “hotels and restaurants” with 55.9 saw the highest among 12 groups of goods and services, followed by “clothing and shoes” with 46.0%. Food and beverages were 38.9% more expensive in the month of Dey than in the same month of the previous year. The Consumer Price Index was reported at 222,7 indicating a 38.5% rise compared to the same month of the year before.
