Eurostat: EU27:   Iran foreign trade from January to October 2023 generated 3,731 million Euro (-13%). The 27 EU coun­tries exported goods worth € 3,082 million Euro (-9%) to Iran and impor­ted goods worth 649 million Euro (-26%). Germany was the most important EU trade partner of Iran, with a trade volume of 1,140 million Euro, followed by Italy (601 million Euro) and the Ne­therlands (476 million Euro). 

The European Union (EU27) export of goods to Iran from January to October 2023 stood at 3,082 mil­lion Euro, a decrease of 9% compared to the first ten month of the year 2022. Accor­ding to the latest data by Eurostat, the sta­tis­tical office of the European Union, 31% of the EU exports to Iran came from Germany that de­livered goods worth 949 million Euro, that was 27% less than in January-October 2022. Second (16%) was Italy with exports worth 481 million Euro (+14%) fol­lowed by the Netherlands (439 million Euro, +46%), Belgium (253 million Euro, +34%) and France (231 million Euro, -12%).

In the first ten month of the year 2023 the 27 EU countries imported goods worth 649 million Euro from Iran (-26%). Most of the Iranian exports to the European Union (29%) went to Ger­ma­ny, which imported goods worth 191 million Euro from Iran (-17%), followed by Italy (120 million Euro, -8%) and Spain (66 million Euro, -46%)
