Eurostat:   EU27-Iran foreign trade from January till September 2022 generated 3,913 mil­­li­on Euro.

The 27 EU coun­­­tries exported goods worth € 3,181 million Euro (+16%) to Iran and im­por­­­ted goods worth € 732 million (+30%). Germany was the most important EU trade part­­ner of Iran, with a trade vol­ume of 1,480 million Euro, fol­lowed by Italy (488 million Euro) and the Netherlands (325 mil­lion Euro).

The European Union (EU27) export of goods to Iran in the first nine month of the year 2022 stood at 3,181 mill­i­­on Euro, an in­crea­se of 16% com­­pared to January-September 2021. Ac­­cor­­­ding to the la­test da­ta by Euro­stat, the sta­tis­tical of­fice of the European Uni­on, 40% of the EU ex­­ports to Iran ca­me from Ger­­­many that de­­­li­ve­red goods worth 1,265 mil­­lion Euro, that was 21% more than in the first nine month of the year 2021. Second (12%) was Italy with ex­ports worth 367 mil­­li­on Euro (+16%), fol­lowed by the Nether­lands (281 mil­lion Euro, -15%), France (249 million Euro, +51%) and Romania (209 million Euro, +52 %)

From January till September 2022 the 27 EU countries imported goods worth 804 mil­li­on Euro from Iran (+27%).  Most of the Iranian ex­ports to the Eu­­ro­pean Union (27%) went to Ger­­­many, which im­ported goods worth 215 mil­­lion Euro from Iran (+5%), fol­­lowed by Italy (121 mi­l­li­on Euro, -6%), Spain (106 million Euro, +79%), Romania (72 million Euro, +55%) and Bul­ga­ria (67 million Euro, +74%).
