EU27- Iran foreign trade from January till Juni 2022 generated 2,588 mil­li­on Euro.

The 27 EU coun­­­tries exported goods worth € 2,033 million Euro (+11%) to Iran and im­por­­­ted goods worth € 555 million (+36%).  Germany was the most important EU trade part­­ner of Iran, with a trade vol­ume of 950 million Euro, fol­lowed by Italy (324 million Euro) and the Netherlands (209 mil­lion Euro).

The European Union (EU27) export of goods to Iran in the first half of the year 2022 stood at 2,033 mill­i­­on Euro, an in­crea­se of 11% com­­pared to January-June 2021. Ac­cor­­­ding to the la­test da­ta by Euro­stat, the sta­tis­tical of­fice of the European Union, 39% of the EU ex­­ports to Iran ca­me from Ger­­­many that de­­­li­ve­red goods worth € 799 million, that was 6% more than in the first half of the year 2021. Second (11%) was Italy with ex­ports worth € 233 mil­­li­on (+7%), fol­lowed by the Netherlands (€ 175 million,  -19%).

From January till June 2022 the 27 EU countries imported goods worth € 555 mil­li­on from Iran (+36%).  Most of the Iranian ex­ports to the Eu­­ro­pean Union (27%) went to Germany, which im­ported goods worth € 151 mil­­lion from Iran (+7%), fol­­lowed by Italy (€ 91 mi­l­li­on, 8%), Spain (€ 66 million, +62%) and Romania (€ 54 million, +75%).
